The talk of the town, "a minor girl maid brutally beaten by the judge and his wife" case has inspired the poor people of the country. It is normally known that the rich and powerful are above the law in this country and the poor people are the ones grilled by the law enforcers whenever there is a case of law breaking. As the media and social media widely condemned the inhumane treatment of the minor girl maid at the judge's house, the Suo Moto taken by the incumbent Chief Justice is widely appreciated. Moonis Elahi said the move to protect the poor maid will give hope to the people and it will strengthen the trust of people in the system.
It was reported that the parents of the girl had stated on media that they weren't forced not harassed by the powerful judge's family but they have decided to forgive him and will not proceed with any investigation. They had decided to train their child to work with more care in future and that the masters weren't guilty. This didn't convince the SC or the CJP Nisar who said proper investigation be done and the culprits be apprehended. Moonis Elahi appreciated the latest notice to confirm the relativity of the girl's parents to identify if they are the correct people to forgive the judge who is the main accused.
